We are new to all this blogging lark!
Photos shown are from previous adventures while we experiment and learn in preparation for blogging our Wheely Amazing Gap Year.

"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all" - Helen Keller

In our blog we hope to share our amazing adventures, the preparation for those adventures and some of the things we learn along the way. Maybe we will inspire others to go adventuring too!

Let's introduce ourselves:
Racheal is 19. She has learning disabilities, is blind and a full time wheelchair user. She loves to travel and has a wonderful sense of fun. This gap year idea all started from a desire to enable Racheal to have the same experiences other young people her age can have.

Summer is 18. She and Racheal met at Guides about 8 years ago and have become firm friends. They have enjoyed a number of adventures together through Guides and Rangers, including attending a Jamboree, various camps and a trip to Switzerland. She is very creative and adaptable, and generally a nice person to be around!

Mum is considerably older than the other two members of the trio! She travelled extensively in her 'pre-Racheal' life and can't wait to get out exploring again. She's been allowed to come along on the gap year to assist with Racheal's care and medical needs, and to pay the bills!
